Customs Policy
Many countries have customs exemption limits, under which parcels pass through customs freely. But these exemption limits vary greatly accross countries. Some countries don't have any exemption at all. It's buyer's responsibility to know about his/her country's policy.
Parcels over the exemption limit will need to go through formal customs process.
(NOTE: 22 EUR LIMIT NO LONGER APPLY FOR EUROPEAN UNION. NOW, EVEN THE SMALLEST CARGOES ARE SUBJECT TO CUSTOMS PROCESSING.)
Over the exemption limit, you may be asked to provide documents (invoice, payment proof etc.) and need to pay associated import fees (including taxes and other customs charges).
Customs procedures and costs differ from one country to other. There's no fixed import fee that we can incorporate into our prices.
Therefore, our prices do not cover any import taxes and customs costs, and buyers are responsible for responding to customs authority and paying fees, if any, when they receive their parcel.
Import fees may also involve customs brokerage fees. Courier services like DHL and Fedex have their own brokerage services and will charge a brokerage fee in countries where customs processing is required, unless you use your own broker. You need to inform them about your own broker, once your parcel is dispatched.
